Journee Sucking Her Thumb

Bobby caught Journee in the act. How adorable. Journee is now 3 lbs. 8 oz. That's more than what Jaydin weighed when he was born. She is nippling one bottle a day and getting stronger. Before we know, she'll be home. We cannot wait!

Welcome Home Jerzee

On Wednesday (12/30/09), our little Jerzee was able to break out of baby prison. She is doing great so far!! Today the home nurse weighed her and she is 5 lbs. 9 oz. WOW!!! Jaydin is 5 lbs. 4.5 oz. (I will update Journee's weight on another post). Last night was CRAZY with two babies that are not on a schedule. We are going to work on that ASAP. I took care of Jaydin and Bobby cared for Jerzee. Jaydin and I stayed downstairs because he has a little addiction to the "Little Lamb" swing. During the day it's really hard to put them down and stop staring at them. They are so cute!!!

Jaydin is HOME!!!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone...we received the BEST Christmas present by getting to bring our lovely Jaydin home. Jerzee is not too far behind him and may be home Monday!! Wow, it's happening so fast. Soon they will be able to have visitors, we'll let you know!!

Getting Bigger and Better!

The babies are doing wonderful lately. Journee is over 3 pounds!! Finally. She is taking her feedins well and actually had her nasal cannula removed. Look at the picture above, and you'll see she only has her feeding tube. Yeah!! Jaydin is 4# 12 oz and is drinking 5 bottles a day. He needs to drink 6-8 a day in order to come home. He is almost there!! Jerzee is 4#11 oz. and doing great also. She is only drinking 2 bottles a day (the other feedings are via a tube). She is kind of lazy when it comes to work. :)

On our way to CPR 101, Justin was able to "pop in" and see his brother and sisters. He was so excited. The nurses didn't mind. Monday, Julia will try on her way to CPR class. Let's cross our fingers!

Jerzee's First Bottle

This is Katie, Jerzee's primary nurse. This is the way the kids are fed. It seems weird, but that's the way they do it!

Now Jerzee and Jaydin are getting "some" of their meals via a bottle. The rest of the time they are still tube feed. Journee is tube feed each time over a two hour period. This is to help her reflux. She also started on Prilosec yesterday to help with this. Jaydin is eating two bottles a day and finishing those. Jerzee is still on one bottle a day and doesn't always finish. The must be able to drink all 8 bottles ... before they can go home. We'll get there.

Lovely Teddy Bears

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa in Florida...The babies all have beautiful teddy bears to spend time with. They look super cute on their beds. Check it out!

Jaydin's First Bath

Jaydin had his first bath. He cried through most of it. His hair looks so cute, all fuzzy afterwards. Journee and Jerzee cannot have a bath until their IV's are out. They should be out in the next couple of days. Jerzee still has to lose her umbilical cord (scab). We will post their first bath pictures as soon as they can take a bath. :)

They're getting so big!!

Now that the babies are in their suite, we can hold them together at times. It feels so nice!!

Jaydin is in a big boy crib!!

Today (12/5/09) was a great day for Jaydin. He moved to a new room with his sisters...we are calling it a suite. It's huge and it's just for our triplets. Also, Jaydin was moved from an isolette to a crib. He was able to do this because his IV is out. His IV is out because he is eating enough breastmilk. Way to go Jaydin!!!!!!!

December 3rd

As of today, Jerzee is up to 3 lbs 15 oz. WOW... almost 4 pounds!!! Jaydin is 3 lbs 13 oz., and Journee is 2 lbs 6 oz. Jaydin is eating 19 cc's every 3 hours, Jerzee 11 cc's, and Journee 8 cc's. Jaydin is off is nasal cannula and doing great. Journee and Jerzee are almost off. Jaydin and Jerzee are no longer having their billirubin (sp?) tested ... so no more lights for them. Everyone is very well.
Congrats to Julia... she passed her driving test and received her license. Watch out world! :) Justin remains undefeated in chess. Jordan is "playing" sick ... again. I think he really is a little sick, but not enough to stay home. Well, I let him stay home anyway. Looks like he won't be out playing in the snow. Speaking of snow...why did the weather stay nice UNTIL I got out of the hospital??? WHY???

Daddy's New Tattoo...OUCH!

Bobby followed through and documented the triplets' birth... right on his back. :) He loves it, but as you can see...some of the 3's look like 8's. Oh well, I guess it adds character. :)

Jerzee's Post (Thanks Julia)

Since we did not get to see Jerzee getting dressed and weighed yesterday, we only have pics of Journee and Jaydin. Julia so kindly reminded me to BE FAIR!!!!!!! So here is our lovely Jerzee from yesterday. :) She has an IV in her head because the one in her leg malfunctioned and no longer worked. Don't worry, this one looks like it hurts less than the one in her leg did.

Eating and Growing

As of today (12/1/09), all three babies are still eating, digesting, and growing. They continually increase the amount of food & decrease the IV amounts. This is what we need in order for the babies to grow.
